The memorial was the first bronze statue of its kind to be cast in Western Australia and it continues to provide a focal point for the annual Perth Anzac Day parade, being the point from which the salute is taken. His iconic architectural work includes the Weld Club, the Masonic Lodge in Hay Street and four heritage residences on Newcastle Street that were designed in the 1890s and restored as part of the our New Northbridge project.
The statue is located in Supreme Court Gardens and looks down Geoffrey Bolton Avenue.
